The workshop will cover the following topics:

  • A quick overview of KOTLIN programming language and how to apply KOTLIN to Android Apps Development and with existing JAVA project
  • Live Data – data with observable pattern
  • MVVM – a modern design pattern approach for maintainable and sustainable codes
  • Navigation Component – an optimized Fragment approach to build app’s navigation
  • Room Persistence Library – a modern approach to use SQLite Database
  • Data Binding Library – bind your views with data and objects
  • Work Manager – a lightweight API to do background jobs
  • Co-routine with AAC– a KOTLIN Library to do asynchronous task more efficiently (You don’t have to use Interface Callbacks anymore!)

 

A fully featured app will be developed from scratch during this workshop where each of the components will be applied.
