Course Outline :

  1.  To speak and write with correct structuring and professional terminologies as appropriate for a given situation
    • To assess the situation and choose the contents while speaking and writing
    • To acknowledge the emotions of a speaker or writer and respond accordingly
    • To speak to a group of people on a given topic with confidence and correct structuring
    • To write and speak in short simple sentences
    • To use simple vocabularies
    • Distinguish between formal and casual words and determine cases to use them
    • Analyze for email samples

  2. Reading and Understanding messages and hence responding with relevance to the query
    • To replace noun forms with action verbs
    • To use concrete information in place of an abstract one
    • To use idioms common for business writing
    • To identify writing cases where active or passive voice is used
    • To shorten a phrase into a word
    • To understand the emails that are received by reading through words, phrases, clauses, and sentences
    • To structure/write email specific to the purpose of interaction

  3. To write emails with Business Email Etiquettes
    • To identify lines/phrases with hidden negative meanings and avoid them to make emails polite
    • To use symbols as appropriate for professional emails
    • To pick from and use jargons and abbreviations that the reader is familiar with
    • To prioritize and arrange information accordingly while keeping sequence or presenting facts

  4. Speaking with professionally used vocabularies, idioms, and expressions
    • To convert facts and data into presentations
    • To deliver a professional presentation in front of an audience
    • To pronounce words properly
    • To pick and use vocabularies one understands fully
    • To use meaningful short sentences and expressions

  5. Develop listening and understanding over a conversation 
    • To listen properly following active listening tips
    • Repeat the speaker’s words in your mind to keep the focus
    • Clear your mind before you start speaking to someone

    • Learn to relax before getting into a conversation over the phone to help overcome fear
